Role Brief:
The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of accounting operations within a designated area of the financial system. The scope of work may range from Accounts Recievable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, General Ledger and Fixed Assets.
The position will require active management reporting as well as inter department coordination. They will also be expected to liaise with external customers or suppliers in order to ensure reconciliation of accounts.
The individual will need to be conversant with bank services and may need to interact routinely with financial institutions. They will also be expected to support internal audit activities and follow international accounting standards. They will also assist in the preparation of final accounts for annual external audits.
The company is an international trading organization and the post holder may be required to participate in trade transactions including Letters of Credit and Documentary Payments as well as interact with logistics and shipping operations.
The post holder will also need to actively support the administration of the finance department which will include document management and ICT system improvements.

The post holder will be responsible for all sales activities and customer accounts within a designated area of the UAE. They will work with existing customers to ensure maximum sales potential is achieved and will develop new sales channels and customer accounts. They will be the ambassador for the company and product brands in the area and will be responsible for new product introductions and brand awareness. They will lead and support campaigns, exhibitions and promotions initiated by the company.
They will handle daily sales orders and follow up on their execution as well as ensure timly payments and credit control and recovery. They will provide regular reports and surveys on the customers as well as competitor activity to evaluate market trends and inform management strategy.
They will respond to customer claims and complaints and liaise with the technical engineers to ensure proper resolution and customer satisfaction. They will help educate and train customers for the correct product selection, application and maintenance of the products as well as help obtain performance testimonials.
