Senior Accountant

Location: Head Office (Dubai)

Role Brief:

  • Management of all accounting and finance operations within a designated business unit.
  • Manage bank relationships and ensure banking services are handled securely and efficiently.
  • Handle import and export trade transactions including documentary credit and LC.
  • Negotiate with financial institutions to secure services and facilities.
  • Supervise assistant accountants and junior staff.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and international accounting standards.
  • Coordinate internal audits and support annual external audits.
  • Participate in credit control and payment recovery including legal recourse.
  • Interdivision and intercompany accounts.
  • Cash flow projections and cash management.
  • Monthly management accounts.
  • Management reporting and analysis.
  • Annual budgets forecasts and budget management.
  • Improvement and automation of processes with ERP and ICT systems.

Desired Profile:

  • Finance and accounting qualification and experience.
  • Strong Commercial understanding and a natural business sense. 
  • Strong logic and numerical aptitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proven capability of team working in dynamic environments.
  • ICT skills and qualifications (highly preferable).
  • Fluency in multiple languages (preferable).
  • Driving license (preferable).

Accountant

Location: Head Office (Dubai)

Role Brief:

The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of accounting operations within a designated area of the financial system. The scope of work may range from Accounts Recievable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, General Ledger and Fixed Assets.

The position will require active management reporting as well as inter department coordination. They will also be expected to liaise with external customers or suppliers in order to ensure reconciliation of accounts.

The individual will need to be conversant with bank services and may need to interact routinely with financial institutions. They will also be expected to support internal audit activities and follow international accounting standards. They will also assist in the preparation of final accounts for annual external audits.

The company is an international trading organization and the post holder may be required to participate in trade transactions including Letters of Credit and Documentary Payments as well as interact with logistics and shipping operations.

The post holder will also need to actively support the administration of the finance department which will include document management and ICT system improvements.

Sales Officer (Tyres Division)

Location: Head Office (Dubai)

Role Brief:

The post holder will be responsible for all sales activities and customer accounts within a designated area of the UAE. They will work with existing customers to ensure maximum sales potential is achieved and will develop new sales channels and customer accounts. They will be the ambassador for the company and product brands in the area and will be responsible for new product introductions and brand awareness. They will lead and support campaigns, exhibitions and promotions initiated by the company.

They will handle daily sales orders and follow up on their execution as well as ensure timly payments and credit control and recovery. They will provide regular reports and surveys on the customers as well as competitor activity to evaluate market trends and inform management strategy.

They will respond to customer claims and complaints and liaise with the technical engineers to ensure proper resolution and customer satisfaction. They will help educate and train customers for the correct product selection, application and maintenance of the products as well as help obtain performance testimonials. 

 

Desired Profile:

  • Experience with outdoor business to business sales and marketing.
  • Experience with customer service and relationship management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven capability of team working in dynamic and competitive environments.
  • Industry and product knowledge.
  • Fluency in multiple languages.
  • Driving License
